🔍 What's New?
This release makes recording sessions more resilient and Save to EHR more dependable. Recordings now recover after a dropped connection, the live transcript stays in order after you resume, and providers are told clearly when another session is holding their connection. Veradigm users get ICD-10 checks before saving, full order-set suggestions, and support for Procedure Result Entry Rules, and launching from Veradigm no longer overwrites or duplicates synced appointments. New in this release: bullet and paragraph note formats, an OB/GYN specialty, a 14-day free trial and mobile sign-in for Practice Fusion, and edge acceleration for the production API. Rounding it out are 23 security updates and an infrastructure upgrade.
🔧 What's Been Fixed?
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- Recordings lost after a dropped connection — Recordings now recover when the connection drops mid-session, so audio captured before the drop is kept. (MED-7756)
- Already connected on another session — A stale session no longer holds the provider's connection lock open, and providers now see a clear message when another session is using their connection. (GHI-5173, GHI-5295)
- Live transcript out of order — The live transcript now stays in order after you pause and resume a recording. (GHI-5403)
- Save to EHR grayed out — Save to EHR is now available on notes that have not been reviewed yet. (GHI-5131)
- Veradigm appointments overwritten or duplicated — Launching Ambient Scribe from Veradigm now reuses the matching scheduled appointment and no longer overwrites appointments that were already synced. (GHI-5389, GHI-5253)
- Orders failing to save to Veradigm — Orders that require a Procedure Result Entry Rule now save correctly, and ICD-10 selections are validated before Save to EHR so errors are caught up front. (GHI-4562, GHI-5472)
- Missing order-set suggestions — Every order-set item is now shown, with the best-supported items ranked first. (GHI-5202)
- Notes failing on short recordings — Very short encounters now save an empty note instead of erroring, and Classic templates no longer fail when optional fields are blank. (GHI-5478, GHI-5480)
- Mobile summaries missing speaker labels — Mobile summaries now wait until speaker separation is complete before they are published. (GHI-5194)
- History filters not saving — Saved History filters now save correctly, and cleared filters stay cleared. (GHI-5083)
- Ambient Scribe connection errors — Fixed the gateway and timeout settings behind intermittent Ambient Scribe errors and dropped live connections. (GHI-5110, GHI-5218, GHI-5302)
- Unclear error messages — Errors that are not in the expected format are now handled and shown properly. (GHI-5095)
- Summary generation reliability — Fixed a locking issue that could let two summary jobs run against the same note. (GHI-5206)
🧹 Technical Improvements:
- Security updates — Patched known vulnerabilities in third-party libraries, including next, fastify, @nestjs/platform-fastify, axios, handlebars, multer, fast-uri, brace-expansion, sharp, undici and tinypool, and cleared 31 open dependency-scan findings. (GHI-5076, GHI-5260, GHI-5421, CVE-2026-88932, CVE-2026-86472, CVE-2026-102277, CVE-2026-101899, CVE-2026-92081, CVE-2026-93749, GHSA-jggr-w7fw-pc2j, CVE-2026-104848, CVE-2026-94543, CVE-2026-106445, CVE-2026-74866, CVE-2026-87776, CVE-2026-90711, GHSA-wq5f-xc86-pv6w, CVE-2026-94483, GHSA-9c5c-9qcx-q35q, CVE-2026-106444, CVE-2026-84504, CVE-2026-104849)
- Faster performance for distant users — CloudFront edge acceleration now covers the production API, so users far from our US region connect over the AWS backbone. (MED-7678, GHI-5189)
- Smoother live transcription — When a connection backs up, outdated interim transcript updates are dropped so the live view stays current. (GHI-5220)
- Lower storage and processing costs — Audio is stored in fewer, larger files, mobile audio is no longer duplicated to a streaming store, and noisy logging was reduced. (GHI-5182, GHI-5191, GHI-5221, GHI-5258)
- Platform upgrade — Upgraded our Kubernetes clusters to version 1.35 and streamlined container builds. (GHI-5241, GHI-5237, MED-7868, GHI-5330)
- Better diagnostics — Restored practice, user and prompt-version tags on production traces, and error logs now include the underlying cause. (GHI-5061, GHI-5168, MED-7749, MED-7234)
- Also in this release — bullet and paragraph note formats (GHI-5126), an OB/GYN specialty in Nsight settings and team members (GHI-5296), a 14-day free trial for Practice Fusion with the trial button linking to the plans page (GHI-5106, GHI-5233), and Practice Fusion sign-in on mobile (GHI-5196).
