🔍 What's New?

This release is focused on stability and speed. We fixed the problems behind notes that failed to generate, a Documentation tab that could hang on the loading spinner, and an appointments list that had grown slow to load. We also hardened the Veradigm and Practice Fusion connections so a slow or unavailable EHR no longer leaves providers waiting, blocks orders from sending, or stops notes from saving. New in this release: the Caring One call summary in the Call Center app, a refreshed Practice Fusion sign-up page with full pricing, and a configurable appointment page size on mobile. Rounding it out are nine security updates and a faster, more dependable build and release pipeline.

🔧 What's Been Fixed?

🐞 Bug Fixes:

  • Notes not generating — Notes now generate reliably for workflows that include a dictation step. Previously an encounter could finish with no documentation produced at all. (MED-7741)
  • Documentation tab stuck on the spinner — After you finish an encounter, the Documentation tab now polls for the note and recovers on its own, instead of spinning until you refreshed the page. (MED-7717)
  • Orders not reaching the EHR — Orders and notes containing special characters now send to Veradigm successfully. (MED-7802)
  • Unity calls are blocked error — Providers are no longer stopped from starting Ambient Scribe when the Veradigm connection is briefly throttled. (MED-7753)
  • Save to EHR failing in Practice Fusion — Notes now save to Practice Fusion instead of failing with a model validation error. (MED-7746)
  • Slow appointments list — The appointments list loads quickly again. Session length is now calculated once when the session is saved, rather than recalculated on every page load. (MED-7734)
  • Already connected on another device — After a brief network drop, providers can reconnect and resume recording right away. (MED-7742)
  • Veradigm sign-ins that hung indefinitely — A stalled Veradigm login now fails promptly with a clear error instead of leaving the provider waiting. (MED-7697)
  • Intermittent Failed to fetch errors — Fixed the connection and deployment gaps that caused occasional failures in the middle of an appointment. (MED-7724, MED-7754, MED-7477)
  • Timeouts on slow or unstable connections — Requests that stall on a dead connection now fail fast and retry, instead of hanging until the browser gives up. (MED-7718)
  • Admin Portal tenant creation and user invites — Fixed tenant creation failures, and Call Center tenants now use the correct invitation flow without asking for a Veradigm ID. (MED-7733, MED-7481, MED-7476)
  • Session audio processing errors — Fixed intermittent storage connection errors when combining session audio recordings. (MED-7493)
  • 🧹 Technical Improvements:
  • Security updates — Patched nine known vulnerabilities in third-party libraries: nanoid, js-yaml, postcss, brace-expansion, dompurify, fast-uri and sharp. (MED-7646, MED-7648, MED-7690, MED-7726, MED-7751, MED-7755, MED-7760, MED-7761, MED-7828)
  • Faster database queries — Added an index to the transcription table and trimmed oversized queries behind the appointments and history pages. (MED-7497, MED-7764)
  • Zero-downtime deployments — The EMR integration service now reports readiness before it receives traffic, so deploys no longer drop in-flight requests. (MED-7754)
  • Better Veradigm diagnostics — Support alerts now include the practice and connection details needed to triage a login failure, with no manual lookup required. (MED-7841)
  • Faster performance for distant users — Added CloudFront edge acceleration in front of the API, so users far from our US region connect over the AWS backbone instead of the open internet. (CLI-4100)
  • Build and release reliability — Replaced ESLint and Prettier with Oxlint and Oxfmt, fixed a flaw that let CI test jobs skip silently, and repaired build ordering and container image pinning. (MED-7386, MED-7752, MED-7765, MED-7722)
  • Cleaner logging — Fixed log context leaking between concurrent requests, so troubleshooting logs now attribute correctly. (MED-7747)
  • Google Analytics console error — Cleared a content-security-policy warning on the marketing pages. (MED-7818)
  • Onboarding and platform permissions — Super Admin passwords are now set in Cognito during onboarding, plus Admin Portal storage, secret and deployment permission updates. (MED-7621, MED-7843, MED-7844, MED-7810, CLI-4098)
  • Also in this release — the Caring One call summary in the Call Center app (MED-4692, MED-7750), a refreshed Practice Fusion sign-up page with full pricing (MED-7846), a configurable appointment page size on mobile (MED-7744), updated Call Center onboarding permissions (MED-7615), and more tolerance for slow Veradigm responses (MED-7679).
